It is indeed foolish to state that the group has significantly impacted my life alone for, the group is known for its CSR activities. The Aditya Birla memorial hospital and services along with its immunization camps conducted, meals schemes and contribution for school children such as scholarships and enablers through Idea cellular, training women to become entrepreneurs etc. has left a positive mark on millions of people across the country.
With this, I would like to conclude on the part with respect to ABG's impact.
Everyone has highs and lows that they have to learn from, but every morning I start off with a good head on my shoulders, saying to myself, 'It's going to be a good day!' --Lindsay Lohan
Only changes are constant in life and I'm here writing this from a BSchool due to a change. Being an Electrical Engineer, in 2015 I had the life which any undergraduate student would crave for. I had a job in an MNC with a position in Electrical domain right after I finished my exams, had purchased a bike with the money I had earned, was surrounded by friends, family and had was generally happy.
But, just as all the good things must come to an end, my fall came in the form of a bike skid. I was diagnosed with a broken bone and ligaments missing in my right leg. I was suggested to take up multiple surgeries and was bedridden for about a year. This led to my resignation from the company as I couldn't work without help. I had to sell my bike as I was advised against driving for a year.
Nonetheless, I took up a positive attitude towards the fall. I believed that the excess time given to me was an opportunity to carve another path and with the help of my family and friends, I started the journey that led me here. I used my time to prepare for GRE, TOEFL, and CAT, I read books of my favorite genre, watched movies and apart from these, I took tuition for little kids from third to the fifth standard in the area of English and Maths. These activities helped me to heal faster. I talked to both adults and kids alike and found healing in it. I understood that life was not about enjoyment alone, but an option to care and share.
In a manner am thankful to the unforeseen forces out there for the above-mentioned instance, for I do not know whether I would have sustained in a similar manner or found the strength at a later stage of life. I am grateful that at that point apart from my strength, I had the strength and support of my family and friends as well. This bond and care that I have obtained from them and those that I have created from people who exist along with me are my greatest strength and hence achievements.
