Name their any brand, they are very big in it – Vodafone (World’s 2nd largest in telecom), Novelis (World’s top can recycler), Pantaloons (No. 1 fashion retail in India), UltraTech Cement (India’s largest cement manufacturer) etc.
Aditya Birla Group has actively contributed to the social and economic development of the communities wherever they operate. Aditya Birla Group has been providing scholarships for 500 achievers for supporting their higher studies from Aditya Birla Scholarships. In this country, India, where literacy rate is 74.04%. Aditya Birla Group has been operating 56 schools and providing education to around 46500 school children. ABG provides midday meals everyday for 63,000 children in 268 schools. ABG has immunized 70 million children against polio. Let me tell you about the challenges I faced in my life and how I overcame them. Since my childhood, I have faced a lot of challenges.
1: I belong to a semi-urban place where the education was not good 13 years back and my family could not afford to send me to a good school in the city at that time. Therefore, my dream was to go to a good school and get a good education. Well, life always give you opportunities and you have to be ready to grab them. At that time, I got to know about the Central Govt.’s residential school – Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The hard part was that there are 80 limited seats in the school for a district. I prepared hard for that entrance exam and achieved the 4th rank out of 2000 students who applied. At that day, I realized that every dream can be achieved if you really want it and work hard for it.
2: I was a part of organization, which is a direct selling industry firm. In that organization, you have to do direct selling. My main motive to join that organization was to improve my personality and my communication skills, as I was an introvert person. At that I joined a college in Delhi University. Basically, in direct selling, you first sell the product to your friends. I didn’t have any friends there. Well, I had to do something to get some sales. I started cold calling, digital marketing and contacting random college students. After 1 year, I had a team of 50+ students across Delhi NCR. The guy, who had stage fear and couldn’t speak in a group of 5 people, was addressing the crowd of 400+ students. There is always a reward for the struggle.
