The Culture – When I entered the college in June 2017, it was a huge construction site with no gate and scrap everywhere. But that was just the first thing I saw here. As soon as I started with the program, I got to know what IIMU stands for, its core values, mission, and vision. College’s existing environment and stakeholders helped us to integrate these values in ourselves. Another highlight is the events on campus. Life at IIMU is full of enthusiasm and contains different dimensions to itself. Starting from academic activities to co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. Here, every day you will find some or the other activity being conducted by the students who are a part of the various committees/clubs/SIGs or administration.
The Location – In our fun conversations, we refer to our campus as a resort and not an academic institute. I can say with 100% conviction that we have one of the best campuses under development in the country. We have a 300+ acre campus in the Aravalli hills located on the outskirts of Udaipur city. Construction work is nearing its completion, and things on the campus are getting in shape.
If you haven’t visited us, please plan to do so, and you will be mesmerized by seeing the beauty of the campus and the uniqueness of the people.
Which Aditya Birla Group company would I like to work with?
Having a background in Electronics and Tele-Communication, I want to join Idea Cellular. Here, I can best utilize my skills from engineering and management education both. The telecom industry is itself undergoing a lot of changes so all the organizations are also undergoing a lot of changes in how they work and how they earn, so it will be a challenging role for me to explore all this being insider after being an enthusiast of the telecom industry. As Idea is evolving its business model, venturing into new fintech model, I will be able to get the best learning about the industry and newer opportunities. I really want to have this experience that will challenge my learning and will teach me how to best apply my learnings to solve the problems for a bigger organization.
