Time flies.
After two years, I decided to go for IIT coaching as most of us do. I packed my luggage, this time with mindset of not giving up because of previous failures and actually crack the paper. I stayed for two years, not giving up and actually working hard to compete with best of the students from pan India. Result announced, my name was not even in the list of rank holders. I failed, Again.
I settled down with an average engineering college. But until now i developed a mind set of not giving up. With crystal clear image of going to a top B school of India, i started acquiring leadership skills by organizing various events in college and managing them. Started working cross vertically to gain exposure of different sectors. I worked on my skills, both hard as well as soft. Took part in various debate competition and won almost every single one of them. Finally i appeared for CAT, got good percentile. Calls from different top B schools for interview round started pouring my inbox, and then something happened that shattered the earth below my feet. My mother passed away. Suddenly all things started seem to be of no value, but to achieve the goal that i set for me and now for my mother also, i appeared for first interview on the very 4th day of her death. I got admission calls from various top B schools from across India. Keeping all the parameters in mind, I decided to go for IMI, New Delhi for its core course, and this was a decision that I shall cherish my whole life.
Nutshell, Life is too short for whining over trivial things, you have to start looking at bigger picture, and no matter how many times you fail, life always holds a different gate open for you. So trust the process and keep moving, after all compounding is the 8th wonder of world.
