Now with the beginning of my MBA journey, ABG will continue to be present not just in the products I use but also in my thoughts as one of the dream companies that enables me to reach greater heights in my career and make my dreams come to reality.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambition in life so far.

During my 8th std, I came to know about IITs and IIMs as the premium educational institutes for Engineering and Management courses. It is then I dreamed of joining in these institutes and decided to be a part of them in my Life. I failed to make it to IITs for my under graduation. It shattered me and my dreams of going into IIT after my Intermediate. This impacted my performance in all other entrance exams after IIT - JEE. But I pulled myself up from that failure and moved on after some time. I then decided to do my MBA in IIMs. After my B.Tech I joined an IT company. After one year into my career, I decided to attempt CAT and fulfill my dream of joining in IIM.

As I worked in a small company my work hours lasted for more than 10 hours in the office sometimes extending to 12 hours. In addition to my work hours, my travel took almost 2 hours to go through the traffic which gave me no chance to attend CAT coaching institutes in their class timings. But as I could not give up on my dream, I took an online course to study at my flexible timings. I tried my best to cover all the topics in 3 months but failed in getting a good percentile in my first attempt. 

To reiterate it once again I could not give up on my dream. I analyzed my performance and identified the areas I lacked in to get a better score. Being a good performer in my office with the highest rating and hikes in addition to promotion I need to keep up with the expectations and increased responsibilities in my office as well as score well in CAT. Because of my nature, I could not compromise on my performance in office as well as CAT. So, I planned accordingly and learned to multitask things to achieve my dream. Finally, I made it to the Institute of my dream, Indian Institute of Management, Nagpur. 

Learning from my failures in every exam I failed to score well and developing the ability to deal with my failures made me better in my journey so far. Being persistent, determined and motivated helped me to achieve my dream.
