Aditya Birla Group has been with me since the very early ages of my life. Since Kinder-Garden I have been eating my tiffin wrapped in Freshwrap aluminium foils. Well, that’s the brand mothers trust the most.
I remember shopping with my mom in bulk every season from Pantaloons, to get the best quality clothes at affordable rates. And now, as I step into the life of an MBA student, the basic requirement becomes having a professional attire. That’s when I resort to brands such as Allen Solly and Van Huesen, which provide me with the perfect fit, comfort and quality, to feel confident and ready for the business world.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
A basketball player, and sprinter, I have always been an active sportsperson throughout my school and college days. I was in the school basketball team and played tournaments right from the junior division to the senior division. The Annual Sports Day of school used to be the most awaited day for me, as every year I enthusiastically took part in the races and the House March Past, and also won medals for the same.
I took this tradition for granted until I faced a major back injury in 2013, Class 11, which did not allow me to be active in sports for a major part of the year. It was both a shock and a realization for me. A shock, because I was so used to participating and I was suddenly thrown into a situation I did not recognize; and a realization because now I understood that I could face situations in life which would be beyond my control, and that my best laid plans could be foiled. T
o cope best with this situation, I chose to come to terms with my situation and gathered the emotional strength to let go of the desire to participate in basketball tournaments and the Annual Sports Day that year. I did not indulge in self-pity, instead, acted as a support system for my team on and off the fields. Meanwhile, I took medical help and exercised consistently to perfect my condition and was back on tracks and the court the next year. More so, I also received the Man of the Match award in in my next match of basketball.
Never give up, never be broken. Today is hard, tomorrow is worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine! That’s the message that stays with me henceforth.
