Like millions of people around the globe, I have also been associated with Aditya Birla Group right from my childhood. Aditya Birla Group has always been close to my heart. Though Aditya Birla Group has made its presence globally, if you ever come to my house, you can feel the presence to Aditya Birla Group all around my house. Right from the walls & floors of UltraTech cement, to my wardrobes, which is full of Allen Solly, Pantaloons and Peter England. I always wonder about the reason behind it, and the one reason which I believe has made me always prefer Aditya Birla Group was its core values. Aditya Birla Group has redefined integrity, commitment and passion for me.
I always believe, the three pillar on which success rest are integrity, commitment and passion. You need passion to have a dream and then integrity & commitment to pursue that dream.
I always had a dream, to bring something new in society, to change the way people think. During my under graduation, I got an opportunity to be part of a team, which designed and fabricated a human-powered vehicle. I know this is not something new, this is not something which has never been done before, but imagine an environment, where no one has thought about it earlier, nobody knew that this is something which can be done. To us, it was like an ice breaker. We did something, which was never been done before, and the only reason we were successful at it was our passion, commitment and integrity. We as a team, has only one passion at that time, to build a human-powered vehicle. We all were committed towards it with integrity and worked seamlessly to achieve it.
It’s not like the whole journey was smooth and simple, there were many ups and downs too. I still remember our initial days, when we were struggling with the design of our human powered vehicle. From the start, our value proposition was to bring comfort to the rider in his/her journey. We burned several midnight oils, read almost two to three dozen research papers and then one fine night, we came up with the idea for our design. That day, my faith in commitment & integrity restored.
You always connect with someone, whose values, whose vision matches with you. And this is what happened between me and Aditya Birla Group. The difference created by Aditya Birla Group in the areas of healthcare, education & infrastructure has some way or the other, inspired me to create a difference in my life as well as in the society around me.
