Prayatna, the social responsibility club of IIM Udaipur, in collaboration with Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), Udaipur is organizing JAIPUR FOOT CAMP (JFC) on
25th February 2015 from
10 AM onwards.
The camp will be set up in IIM Udaipur premises where students will extended their services to support the noble cause. The event is a one-stop facility where the physically challenged patients are measured, and their custom-made limb/caliper is/are fabricated and fitted. A team of doctors will provide disability certificates and recommendations for helping aids to the disabled. There would also be free distribution of medical aids and appliances of disability to differently able people.
Last year, a total of 82 differently able people benefited from the camp which includes 29 students from different parts of Udaipur district. The benefits included 10 hand-pedaled tricycles, 24 hearing aids, 3 Jaipur Foot’s prosthetic legs, 4 calipers, 1 pair of crutches, 38 certificates of disability, 29 railway transport passes, 37 roadways transport passes and 6 student scholarships.
The event is open to all the people who need aid for physical impairment. Following documents along with photocopies need to be carried for the on the spot registration.
