Life is not a cake walk to anyone. The success after overcoming those challenges is the real one and the fruit of our efforts tastes even tastier when we know its value.
I completed B.com in 2018 and joined MBA in that year itself, so I was a fresher. Neither did I complete any internship. After getting started with the MBA programme, I got to know that I was sitting with people, almost all of them had work experience or industry exposure in one or the another way. Initially it became a complex for me being a totally fresher. Also it was difficult for me to get internship. It was a challenge for me to cope up with that situation and getting out of it.
Though it was a difficult situation, it wasn’t impossible. I started reminding all those things which I had faced in past and how I overcame it. During my graduation I was a Maths tutor in a private coaching class. I used to teach FYJC, SYJC and graduation students.
I had to handle a batch of 40 students and sometimes I used to handle two batches at a time. It was a whole new experience for me. But I learned how to handle them within few days. It was all about learning their behaviour and accordingly teaching them. That is how I overcame the challenge of handling grown up students.
Then I had a students who had failed level one of Institute of Cost Accountants of India in first attempt. He came to me just before 20 days of the exam. So my challenge was not only to complete the syllabus within 20 days but to make him practise so that he clears the exam with minimum 50% marks.
Firstly I understood his weak and strong areas then started working only on weak areas. In this way I got to know how to work with him and how to make him succeed. Initially it was really a big challenge for me, but after planning carefully it wasn’t that big task.
Finally he cleared the examination and it gave me a big, sweet fruit of my efforts. He cleared his level one and I succeeded overcoming challenge in my life!
After remembering all this I gathered enough confidence and was able to compete with other batch-mates and now I am having a wonderful time at SIMSREE
