Sundays, back in my childhood used to be celebrated by going out to the mall - catching a movie or a tasty snack and obviously, shopping. My dad loved shopping at Van Heusen, Planet Fashion was my mom’s weakness and for me, it was Pantaloons. I simply loved pantaloons for the sheer variety and numbers of brands it offered. Back then, I was oblivious to the fact that there is an organization that acts as the backbone to my fun Sundays. As I grew up and started taking interest in the what, where and how of things, I realized how ABG is running the show. From realizing that ABG brings together not only the clothes that I wear, the streets I carelessly run on, the building that I live in, my appreciation for the brand exponentially increased with time.
It’s not just these brands and products, ABG has continuously strived to help the society. Its welfare programmes have reached over 7.5 billion people of which 60% are below the poverty line. ABG has also made sure that it touches all spheres of human development be it education, health care, vocational support or infrastructural support. Having a zeal to contribute to the society, ABG inspired me to stand up for the causes I believe in. I successfully organised an awareness event for Transgenders in my college in 2018. Even with lack of support from the college administration, patriarchal societal norms and tackling the inhibitions of some of my team members, my determination helped me in successfully organizing the event and bringing a smile on the lovely ladies of the NGO - Aarohan. ABG's story had a huge role to play in encouraging me to never back down.
Its only obvious that ABG has come out as one of the biggest brands from the nation, and things only look to be going up for ABG.
