“The best fighter is not a Boxer, Karate or Judo man. The best fighter is someone who can adapt to any style.” ― Bruce Lee
This is the quote that I relate to, when a brand, an amalgamation of life lessons in itself, that goes by the name “The Aditya Birla Group”, crosses my mind. Since its inception in 1857, by Mr. Shiv Narayan Birla, the brand has established its name in not just one or two, but almost every sector that you can think of. From cement to high-grade aluminum, from India’s Leading mobile network services to a brand redefining fashion, “The Aditya Birla Group” does it all and moreover is a market leader in whatever it does.
This multifaceted success story of “The Aditya Birla Group”, taught me a lifelong lesson that, life is not just about picking a single task or goal in your life and be good or best in it, but rather, it’s about how diversified and holistic your personality is as a whole and how well you handle everything that you do in your life. Just doing things does not make you a leader, but how well you do it, and how your efforts not only bring a positive change in your life but change the society for good as well. That is how you leave an everlasting impression with whatever you do in your life and It is “The Aditya Birla Group”, that taught me the same.
Life is a mix of autumn and spring. My journey was no different, but the character that I hold today as a person predominantly built my autumns and just garnished my springs. I was into boxing, since my teenage years and was doing good enough to be a part of district camp. But due to an unfortunate injury, followed by some accidents, I had to discontinue from the same for 6 long years, during which my studies also got affected due to lack of motivation.
Exasperated from my mundane and uneventful lifestyle, I decided to push harder at my academic front, faced a few downfalls there as well, with my JEE rank not good enough to get through. Henceforth I joined RGPV University and completed my BE, being amongst the toppers of my branch. Today after long autumn, I have managed to breakthrough to my spring, that is being a student of IIM Raipur, and a proud one too, alongside which I started working on my fitness too,and back to my boxing regime, although not professional, but still it’s an integral part of my life again.
I never hated the autumn, because the amount and abundance of learning packed within itself was like an unexplored treasure chest for me, during the exploration of which I imbibed a strong character, pillars of which being resilience, perseverance, will to never give up and most important of all, the attitude to not just win but bring about a change not just in yourself but anyone and everyone you meet along the way for good.
