Aditya Birla Group is a massive brand. Name it and you can see it in any vertical possible. Fashion, agribusiness, cement industry, insulators, there is no end to the list of services they provide. It is impossible that one has not experienced Aditya Birla Group products or services in his life. For me also it plays an important role.
What are the three most things important to us? Food, home, and clothing. All the three most important things involve ABG. People say that the farmer is the king. But is it a reality? No, it is not. A low-quality seed, a low-quality fertilizer can destroy a family. But my grandfather, being a farmer has always chosen Aditya Birla Group's seeds and fertilizers and he has been a loyal customer to the group. Not even once, he was disappointed in the crop he received at the end. In India, for a farmer to be happy and flourish is a huge thing. Thanks to ABG's Birla Shaktimaan.
Now, what's the next most important thing? A home to live and make memories. My parents to build a home with UltraTech Cement and as a child, I still remember the hardships one puts in making a home and again thanks to ABG for making my house a home. An engineer's first choice cannot be wrong!
Fashion is all that this millennial generation talks about. Keep up with trends, keep up with the latest fashion, but how it's done? ABG has shown a fashionable way to make fashion more fashionable. Pantaloons, Madura fashion makes the fashion of this country.
Not only these, being an electronics and communication engineer, I know how important insulators are for transmission lines and hats off to ABG for making the best insulators.
A person or an organization should have core values and I am an ABG person. Just like what ABGLP teaches, I believe in continuous learning, agility, and resilience. Hailing from a small village to graduating from one of the best universities to being a part of an MNC for year and a half to being a student at one of the renowned MBA universities, I have educated myself that change is what makes you grow and it's the change and agility which makes you different and makes you an ultimate leader. Lessons learnt throughout your life defines your success. Failure, as they say, is the biggest lesson, hence, it is a win-win situation if we consider success and failure as lessons and not as any yardstick.
Challenges faced by me:
Since childhood, there were many social barriers that surrounded me. As I belong to a very interior village in Andhra, I had very little exposure to the outside world. People around me are very conservative in terms of girl education and in providing opportunities. But my parents have supported me a lot irrespective of the fact that our village doesn't have basic educational facilities. So I had to stay away from my family from a very early age of 13. I had to face many challenges as I had never encountered difficulties all on my own. But that had made me a person who understands people and situations better. I understood how to handle them appropriately, how to fight against any odds that come in my way to achieve my success. I have given hope to all the girls in my village to achieve their goals irrespective of what society wants them to do. I am very thankful to my parents and also to myself because I had challenged myself in every way possible in all these years and will continue to do so.
