PART A: ABG in my life, IIM KASHIPUR
Aditya Birla Group is something which one as a citizen of India cannot ignore. I do not want to stress upon ABG’s subsidiaries or recent developments, but rather briefly talk about its impact on my life as an Indian. The Conglomerate has always been a sweetheart for evaluations done by investment stalwarts. Whether its fabric, carbon black or your mobile phone, you cannot deny the impact ABG has on you. I have been an Idea Cellular user for as far as I can remember. I have done shopping at Peter England and have also collected Discount points. I use two wheelers and four wheelers averaging twice a day. I leave the mapping of the ABG impact on my daily activities to the reader. Birla Sunlife is something which every youngster has heard about. As an adult too, when I hear the word Insurance, “Birla Sunlife” hits the auditory nerve receptors. I am an Engineer by Graduation. The very first recall any Engineer has of his early entrance exam prep days, it is either IIT or BITS-Pilani echoes. Need I say more? There is a little of ABG in each one of us. Whether it is the writer or the reader of this article or any of the intermediaries who are miniscule parts of this entire chain, it would not be incriminating to say that we are all little pieces of the Aditya Birla Group Ecosystem. Life is not short, it is long and there is a lot of ABG yet left to come your way!
PART B: My Ambitions. IIM KASHIPUR
Life does not come with an Instruction manual. This statement is guilty of being hackneyed. Nevertheless, one needs constant reminding of simple old adages which tend to obscure out as we get deeper into life’s challenges. I would like to transcend the scope of this article and rather than speak about past achievements which are of little use to me or the reader, speak about what I desire at this point and the steps I am carving out to get there as I write this. I do not hold the relevant experience as a Financial Risk Manager, but that is what I desire to become. I have been a Developer and a Recruiter in the past, and none of this holds any brownie points for me to get there if my profile is superimposed against the broader pool of talent our country now has. Yet I have taken it upon myself to stay determined no matter what. I do not think of the past or the future, near or far. All I have is this moment. Now I can either sleep or worry or deceive myself into taking things as they come, or I can read the NIFTY trends and the daily Economic. The choice as always before, is mine.
I am pursuing PGP, Finance from IIM Kashipur.I have worked as a Tableau Developer in Accenture for a couple of years followed by Recruitment Executive at Unnati. My family is based out of Bandra, Mumbai.
