I was born and brought up in a small town in Rajasthan. I always had an urge that I would move far away from home for education and job. The journey began after matriculation, when I moved to Kota for my further studies. Life was tough and busy there, as I was preparing for JEE. This is the story of most of us people, as at least 11 lakh students appear for JEE Mains every year. The food was horrible, the room I stayed in wasn’t up to the mark and most importantly I was struggling to strike balance between school and coaching institute. I felt lost and doubted on my abilities. However, I was still able to cope up and that made me strong in initial stages of my career, which helped me gain confidence and I still keep that along. Not always, things remain rosy though, I had a tough time again in 12
th, my marks nosedived, and I was plummeting in ranks. The road seemed tough, and it indeed turned out to be. I could not clear JEE and what remained in front of me was AIEEE (currently JEE Mains). I decided to not to leave any stone unturned. I challenged myself up and went an extra mile to achieve the same. I passed with flying colors, I was ranked amongst Top 6000 and I was sure to get at least a NIT, if not IIT. I did not want to lose a year again to take a drop and prepare again. I got admission at NIT Bhopal.
Today, it has been 7 years and since then and I have moved from Kota to Bhopal to Gurgaon and now at MDI. But those tough days remains to be the compass of my life
Why Aditya Birla Group is Big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group is itself very big with reach in 34 countries, strong force of over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities. They are world’s 2
nd largest in Telecom, world’s top can recycler and no. 1 Fashion Retail in India. In my life, ABG plays a big part. I have been using ABG products since my 10
th. I hold an amount in Aditya Birla Mutual Funds. I have a life insurance from ABG. I have been using Idea network since I got my first phone. I have been wearing Allen Solly and Van Heusen shirts. I would at least have 4-5 shirts from Louis Philippe only and is always my first choice when I look to buy a new shirt or T shirt. Also, the room I am staying would also be most probably an ABG product, as ABG is all around us. A large share of the copper requirement of Indian Railways is fulfilled by Birla Copper.
Also, ABG takes social responsibilities well. The Aditya Birla Group works in 5,000 villages, reaching out to 7.5 million people annually through the Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development.
As said by Mrs. Rajashree Birla, Chairperson Aditya Birla Center for Community Initiatives and Rural Development, Aditya Birla Group continues to stand firm on its vow to “
Build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society and raise the country’s human development index.”
