The Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to mind when I think of the Indian Conglomerates that made it big around the globe. ABG has a total of 34 countries with 1,20,000 employees. Not only has this group made it big in the globe, it has touched many lives, including mine. The Aditya Birla Group touches so many of my daily operations.
First, because of Vodafone Idea Limited, I can easily contact my family and friends and use high-speed mobile internet. Vodafone SuperNet 4 G enabled me to investigate on the go and transcend communication boundaries.
Second, formals are an essential component of appropriate dressing in a B-school. Buying female formals is more difficult than buying masculine formals because there are not many brands on the market. But the Aditya Birla Group fulfills our requirement for official women's clothing by offering an exclusive range to Allen Solly Women and Van Heusen Women. All the formal clothes I purchased are the courtesy of ABG.
The Aditya Birla Group also indirectly impacts my life by taking measures to improve our society and country and make it a better place for all of us to live. In fact, his CSR projects in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and his efforts to make model villages are improving our society. The Group is also responsible for its actions that will have an impact on future generations and has therefore rightly taken Sustainability into consideration.
How have you created an effect in your career and overcome difficulties?
Challenges are a vital component of life. It will be too boring to have a life without issues. Challenges test your resilience to difficult or unknown conditions. They create you wiser and enhance your skills. The most important thing is to challenge yourself to higher heights. Every task you set for yourself should assist you enhance.Every now and then, life throws difficulties at us. If we conquer, then we get the taste of achievement and if we fail, we gain knowledge.
My greatest challenge in life came when I passed standard XII and had to select a course for my under graduation. It was a challenge because getting into the top colleges of DU was not possible with a 95 percent in standard XII. It was a tough call, and later I decided to do my BSc. In Finance. Post my graduation, I could not get the desired job, so I took a drop of one year and prepared for various competitive examinations. It was a tough time as I was surrounded by uncertainties. However, with the support of my family, I was able to get through.
That experience taught me the significance of time management, how to prioritize your duties, and most importantly, I learned not to be bogged down by other expectations. I learned that by aligning our activities to please others and giving significance to what others think of us, we are no better than in self-destruct mode.
