It's products comprises Agribusiness, carbon black, cement, chemicals, e-commerce, finance, mining, retail, Telecom, textile and wind power. The range of its products speak volumes of its dominance in the market. The operations of Aditya Birla Group extends to 35 countries around the globe with more than 120000 employees worldwide.
Aditya Birla Group was founded by S S Narayan Birla in 1857, the year in which first struggle of Independence began. It has expanded its wings since then and continues to dominate the market even today. It is currently third largest Indian private sector conlomerate. If we talk about its popular brands, the first thing that comes to my mind is Ultratech cement. Ultratech cement is now the largest cement company in India. Next in the list would be its textile segment. The ABG is the world's largest producer of viscose staple fibre. It is also present in fashion industry and sells branded apparel through online stores and outlets. Some famous brands includes Louis phillipe, Allen Solly, Peter England etc. How can we forget about its Telecom services. Idea cellular was merged with Vodafone to create largest Telecom company in India. Besides these Aditya Birla Group has been very active towards CSR activities in India.

The one word that captures my whole personality is "optimism". Wherever I am today is due to this unique quality that I cherish. I have been an introvert person for most part of my life until I realized sometime back that I need to change myself a bit to survive in this world and enjoy my life. Since then I have been constantly trying to improve myself as a person. The change was also necessary for the field that I had opted to excel in i.e. management. You must have good human relations skills to succeed in management.
I spent my childhood years in my village. I was a very shy guy then and had a very ignorant attitude. The only thing that I cared about was playing cricket. After completing class xth I migrated to Delhi for higher studies. The seriousness in me started to come gradually. I began to explore my interest in which I wanted to excel. During intermediate I found out that I have been made for management. This promted me to choose BBA as my undergraduation degree.
The zeal to learn more has now brought me to IIM VISAKHAPATNAM. I am very excited to make a mark in corporate world after graduating from this prestigious institution.
