Life, in a nutshell, is the reflection of how and what we have achieved and how humble we are when it comes to expressing our triumphs. As a kid, belonging to a middle class family, I was asked always to dream bigger and never stop believing that anything is possible. So when it came to converting his dream house into reality, my father put in all his efforts into making it happen. He wanted me to witness the same and hence I accompanied him to the construction site almost every day. Although I had a vague idea about what stuff went into construction of houses, I did notice the name of the cement that was being used. Ultratech cement, that belonged to the Aditya Birla Group, then, became one of the reasons for the transformation my dad’s dream into reality.
As I grew up, I was introduced to Pantaloons, which later became my anytime shopping destination. The fact that I have been a constant purchaser from this institution, in the past and continue to do so even now, is because of the services and versatility they provide. Moving on to the days of my graduation, where I was supposed to dress in formals for a particular event, I realized, being a girl, I don’t have much options in the formal wear section. That’s when Aditya Birla came to my rescue. Brands like Van Heusen and Allen Solly provide exclusive premium attire for both men and women. They define our personality in a way that makes us more presentable and gives us a sense of confidence regarding the way we exhibit ourselves.
I therefore, realized that with every step of my life, the significance of Aditya Birla Group and its products has been spectacularly evident and those memories that I still dwell upon wouldn’t have been so distinguished had it not been for Aditya Birla Group.
“The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places”. These wise words have been spoken by Ernest Hemmingway, one of the great novelists of America. No matter what life brings our way, we must always have the courage to face it and even if we fail, we must not quit. Rather, we must work on it to deliver better results than before. I am going to recite an incident from my life that happened in the recent past. This particular event is pretty much the reason I, today, can call myself as a strong-headed person.
So during my final year in my graduation, I was subjected to the common process of placements. As any other good student, I was hopeful and pretty sure that I would be placed in a fine company pretty soon. But when the companies started flooding in, I was rejected. Not only by the first, but by the next four as well. Even though I kept my spirits up during the first two rejections, the rest did affect me. My friends got placed and of course peer pressure can do a lot of damage to an individual. But I had a never-give-up attitude that helped me survive this ordeal. I worked harder and better to eliminate my shortcomings and only through an optimistic approach was I able to stay strong. The next company that came for recruitment was impressed with my profile as well as with the effort I had put in and I was hired. My happiness knew no bounds. But even in that moment of delight, I kept one thing in mind. Hard work pays off every time.If not today, then tomorrow. All we need is to keep a little patience and have a positive approach to it.
