Aditya Birla Group, has been present in almost every sphere of my life, or at-least related in some or the other way. From the way I connect to the world, my loved ones be far or close, the way I browse through latest happenings all around the globe which helps me keep my self-updated all the time. All this has been possible by connecting to the wide and always running network of Vodafone-Idea Limited, in which I have placed my trust from more than 5 years. Aditya Birla Group made a big impact when I first went on Bandra-Worli Sealink, for a drive. That was a jaw-dropping moment for me, when I saw it for the first time, the structure was huge and beautifully designed and managed. Since then it has been in my list of go-to places whenever I land in Mumbai. Another area where Aditya Birla Group, has been an important part in my daily routine is the attire I wear. Brands like Allen Solly and Van Heusen have become a way through which I communicate who I really am. These brands compliment my personality without compromising even a bit on comfortability. These are the brands that I look for first when I go out to shop for myself. Beyond this the fashion chain Pantaloons and its brands like Ajile, never miss to meet my expectations. Thus, Aditya Birla Group has presence in my everyday routine and the impact that it leaves on my life is huge which is impossible to portray through just words.

During 4th semester of my graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication, I had a subject event management which was being taken up a mentor whom I admire a lot. Towards the end of the semester before the final exams I had to prepare a practical file for the same subject which comprised 100 marks. There were 2 ways to go about the file: 1. Make a hypothetical plan of an event and present it beautifully in the file. 2. Organize an actual event all by yourself and then present it beautifully in the file. All my batch mates were simply following the first way and were coming up with brilliant event ideas on paper but I was little inclined towards organizing my own event as I could see it as an opportunity to learn many valuable lessons. Here I faced the biggest challenge of my college life, when I had to choose between standing with crowd and standing alone all by myself. After brainstorming for almost a few days I finally decided to walk the road less taken and I came up with an idea of a cycling marathon-cum-charity event. I convinced 2 of my close friends and classmates to make a team and put this idea to work. Then, after a struggle of almost 2 months and endless rejections we 3 were able to successfully organize the cycling marathon called, “Cyclothon- Every Mile Counts”. The event was a huge success, we got 200+ participants, media coverage from Dainik Bhaskar, support from a nationwide NGO Bhumi and some good sponsors. Apart from the successful event we were the only students in the batch of 356 students to actually organize an event outside the college premises and we also scored 98 marks out of 100 in the practical exam.
