Part B:
Since the second year of my Engineering, I wanted to do MBA from one of the top B-schools in India. Because I wanted a good college and I always have been sincere about my academics, I made sure that I had put my heart and soul in Engineering. To get into any B-school in India, one has to appear for CAT (Common Entrance Test). I thought of appearing for CAT in final year but due to family crisis, it was important for me to start working. So I started preparing for job interviews and I was fortunate enough to have gotten a job with TCS. I started working with TCS with full dedication and started saving for my MBA since I could not give up on that dream of mine. As project on which I was working in TCS was shared one, I had to work for 12 hours a day. My workplace was on the outskirts of the city I lived in. It would take 2.5 hours of travelling for work every day. Work and travel would drain me completely by the time I reached home. The traffic made it worse, I had no preparation time for the entrance examinations, and this made achieving my ambition look impossible. Apart from weekend, I could not get any time to study. To overcome this, I have decided to study in cab during commute and after my working hours. Moreover I have reduced my lunch and snacks time in office and tried to utilize that time in reading some articles or in solving some problems. It was stressful in the beginning due to very lowest rest and more work but to watch myself moving a step closer to my dream every day made it all worth of it. I got a decent score in CAT and kept working hard to get though the GDPI. All my efforts turned out to be fruitful when I got admission to one of the top B-schools, IIM Raipur.
