Huda: What is the first thought that comes to your mind when we say, 'Aditya Birla Group'? Srishti Kuldeep: ABG is all about values - it’s a value-driven organization. It can never compromise on values. Huda: How is a typical day at ABG office in general? Srishti Kuldeep: Your day will not be the same anywhere and varies from business to business. I am working with Ultratech, and its business dynamics are completely different from Madura Retail. For me, usually, the day starts at 09:30 or 10:00 am. The first thing to do is to check new emails and attending meetings. And one-hour lunch break and again work from 2 to 6. Will mostly work with cross-functional teams and being in a managerial role it will be our responsibility to keep everyone on the same page. Huda: How does the organisation help in your professional and career growth? Srishti Kuldeep: Career-wise, I am getting a lot of exposure in different areas of Marketing, professionally I am getting opportunities to work with cross-functional teams where I can understand different things which are beyond my scope and not there in my job description. I directly report to CMO and get the opportunity to learn many things. Huda: What's the one thing that you might want to add/change at ABG? Srishti Kuldeep: To bring a new idea and make the senior management understand and challenge its traditional status quo will take time. If I get a chance, I will try to reduce that time.
