Birla carbon makes my car tyres safer. The trains that I use for my daily transport requires copper, a large share of which is supported by Aditya Birla Group. Aditya Birla fashion is a brand that keeps me updated with the changing environment as well as budget-friendly. Hindalco aluminium makes the cover glass used in my cell phone to keep my screen safe. The connection I use for my cell phone is Vodafone Idea Limited, which is an Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone Group partnership and is the second-largest globally. Therefore, Aditya Birla Group is present in every sphere of my life.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
Growing up, I was good at academics but was a bit scared of numbers. In Class 9, there was this inter school Mathematics Olympiad and i was not selected in top 10 to represent my school. It was then i realized my lag and started my preparation since then. I again appeared in class 10 for the Olympiad, and this time i was not only representing my school, but even ranked 2 in south zone inter school mathematics Olympiad. It was then i realized that there's nothing that can scare you and that anything can be achieved with mere perseverance and zeal to crack the code with proper focus and direction.
Another instance which made me believe in the same was during my internship at TATA. It was all new for me to get into core finance from engineering background. everything there was totally finance and i was a beginner there. it was then when i started my own certification in that field, and finished my certification and then started my internship shadowing my seniors. This shadowing not only helps me understand the job, but also gave me hand-son on how the firm runs and makes their business. After about 2 week of shadowing and clarifying my doubts, i myself presented their finance module in SAP and presented a trial on that. this not only made my seniors believe in me but also made me believe in myself and excel in the subject. The only strategy there for me was to grab concepts and understand them and then apply in the field.
