PART - A

Red is the colour that signifies extreme and yellow signifies happiness. That is aptly what the Aditya Birla Group logo signifies. It encompasses the two extreme domains of what we require. From basic necessities that one should have like clothes and shelter, to money and further to life saving things like insurance, Aditya Birla Group covers it all. Yes, it might happen that if you sit and ponder, you will realize the impact ABG group and its products have in your life. Let’s consider the example of an MBA student like me and the products that we directly or indirectly use without naming them. The hostel I stay in may have been built using ABG’s cement, “The Engineer’s Choice”. Or for that matter the clothes that I wear, also including the all important suits we require for placements, are all products by the Aditya Birla Group. Expanding the horizon, ABG also has Aditya Birla Capital and then how can we forget our phones! The late night calls to - no points for guessing whom - would not be possible without a strong cellular network, because an #### can change your life! The extent of penetration of ABG in our lives and the impact it has had, not only in India but around the world is how it has spread happiness among millions of users that use the ABG products. It is hard to sum up our dependency on ABG in a few words, but speaking from a nation’s point of view, it is definitely ‘Taking India To The World’

PART - B

The only person you should compete with, is the person you see in the mirror. One of the challenges I faced in my life till getting into college was being a part of a never ending rat race. I was not striving to be better, what I was running after was defeating someone. I just kept pushing myself, so much so that one day I started doubting my own capabilities.  One thing that helped me in overcoming this obstacle was self introspection. It is very important you realize that you are not here to win every battle, that’s not how the world works. Instead what’s important is that you work out what your strengths are, and work on them to achieve the goal you set for yourself. The rat race I mentioned, came in my life in the form of IIT-JEE. When I was preparing for it, I heard different things from different people like seniors, peers and relatives. Some people even said that I don’t have it in me to crack the exam. And the worst nightmare came true, I couldn’t do well in JEE exam and was not selected. But that setback taught me a lot of things. I had two options – to ponder over what could have been, or to seize the other opportunities that lie ahead. I chose the right one and focused on what was ahead of me. And today, I can proudly say that after completing my Engineering, I worked in a field of my liking - Supply Chain - and I am pursuing my dream from the college known as the Mecca Of Supply Chain.
