It is ranked as the worlds largest producer of viscose stable fibre and largest refiner of palm oil. It is the third-largest producer of insulators and sixth largest of carbon black. Thus, while weaving the threads of enterprise ABG's constant strive has been to reach the zenith of excellence be in any sphere.

Being a student, Pantaloons is my go-to shopping place whether it is for getting a new pair of formals from Allen Solly, or a Fashion update from Forever21 or Ted baker. Pantaloons being the perfect stop for affordable fashion. Thanks to ABG, even when I moved from my hometown to another city, I never had to worry about any network issues because of their reliable Vodafone idea services.
The group has its branches in almost all sectors. Freshwrapp, Liva, People, Birla cement, Birla sunshine insurance are all brands that are one hears about one day or the other. All these brands are leaders in their respective categories. To be so diverse, and yet successful in each dimension is a great task achieved accomplished by the group. Quality leadership and efficient management have made the company reach such a Global milestone.
Part B
A very important phase of your life begins as you wear the black robe and graduate from your college. But at this critical stage of my life, I was clueless. A fresh graduate in Economics, having no idea which path to follow next. The thought of a ‘Gap year” and the consequent peer reaction made me miserable. The one thing that I was sure about, was to pursue my masters from a reputed college and to make no compromises in this regard. It was indeed a tough choice for me to take a year off, make a routine for myself, and work towards getting into a good MBA program.
I continued living away from home, but this time independently without the company of my friends. Motivating myself every day in a situation where I could easily procrastinate, was a task. The whole journey to pursue my ambition seemed like a battle. It was only towards the end when I realized how this year had become one full of learning and introspection.
I started reading more during my free time, joined a french language course, spent a lot of time walking around the city I have been living in for the past three years, caught up on a lot of movies and shows, and tried to make the most out of my time. After some ten months of hustle, I finally made it to a decent college in a good city. This whole experience actually taught me to take things as they come along, and as they say, "Whatever happens, happens for the best.”
