In the year 1857 we had the first war of independence against British but it was also the year a young Marwari founded a group that was going to spread across 35 countries and would have around 120,000 employees across the world. Being from Rajasthan myself I'm proud to be part of the rich cultural heritage of my state and immensely grateful to the glory the Birla Group has brought to us. Since the past 162 years Birla family generations after generations have been crown jewel of Indian industries making impact over the world.
Aditya Birla Group is connected to my life in more ways than one. When in the early 1990s my grandfather a proud Marwari himslef moved with the family to Jaipur from Sikar he decided to use Ultra Tech Cement for the construction of our house. It is the house where I took my first steps, where I laughed, cried and for the past 27 years its walls have provided us warmth, sanctuary and a roof on our head. But the contribution of the Birlas in my life doesn't end here in fact it was merely the beginning.
One of the first vacations that I remember was going to visit Bikaner in 2003 with my parents. The car in which we travelled was a black Ambassador. Going through the dusty roads of Bikaner the ride was comfortable and thrilling. It is rightly called as the "king of Indian roads". A definitive Indian car one of the many contributions the Birla Group to our country.
After completing my school, I did my engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra Jaipur campus where I was imparted the technological knowledge which is so crucial in today's world. I learned important skills and professionalism was imbibed into me and transformed me into the person I am today. This is also true for the thousands of other young individuals who have graduated from the esteemed educational institutions under the Birla Group. I think I can safely say for all of those that we are thankful of the education you have provided us which helped us build our career made us become successful in life and we will continue to add to this legacy.
Living in Visakhapatnam I am able to connect to my parents and other family members through the brilliant services provided by Vodafone.
