#Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In My Life#:
It is my pleasure to put down my thoughts regarding the third largest conglomerate of India. I was born and brought up in a suburban border town, Basirhat, West Bengal. The nearby metropolitan hub, Kolkata is around 75 KM away from my locality.
In the late 90s, when we shifted from our ancestral house, probably that was the first time I came in touch with some
Birla product. I still remember those
Birla cement bags scattered all over the yard in the newly constructed dwelling. At a recent time, the walls are decorated with
Birla white wall-care putty.
Since agriculture is the primary source of earning of my family, I have seen spraying fertilizers, sowing seeds and harvesting. Later on I came to know
DAP and
NPK products are the popular and useful fertilizers produced by
Hindalco (
Aditya Birla group).
Our first mobile connection provider was Hutch. Then we switched into
IDEA in the year 2012 due to low budget and attractive offer. Now we have three mobiles which can have five SIM cards of which three are from
IDEA-Vodafone cellular connection. Mobile phone is part and parcel of our life and it’s incomplete without the network connection.
I am a graduate in Civil Engineering. As part of my curriculum I had to study cement and concrete.
Ultratech is the largest cement brand in India and one of the leading cement producers across the Globe. My maternal uncle is a building contractor and he also mentioned the name in top.
It was my long cherished dream to put on a

Forever 21 is my another attraction now. My cousins usually prefer to
Pantaloons for its trendy collection and variety.
Recently I invested in
Aditya Birla Sunlife insurance to keep my parents protected from medical illness. I researched a lot before investing and I found out it is my cup of tea.

#How Have I Made An Impact#
Before answering this question I would like to remind a quote of famous Novelist: “
Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
I was always enthusiastic towards the technical events in my college days. Earlier I had no experience of hosting an event. I was an event coordinator for two consecutive years in the technical festival of my college, NSEC. That gave me an awesome experience of how to conduct an event and make it successful.
I love to take challenges and my enthusiasm and dedication towards goal always help me to keep in track. Being a Civil engineering student, initial days were tough in my career. The programming languages and coding seemed to be incomprehensible and I was anxious to cope up with the initial hiccup. With continuous learning and dedication I came to know that coding is nothing but sets of logical algorithm based on mathematics. With patience and hard-work I grabbed an opportunity to be the team lead of six member team in an innovation project. That project boosted my confidence in coding. In the year 2017, I was awarded with “
On the Spot” award for cross domain knowledge and learning excellence.
In my 2 years and 10 months of experience as a
Middleware Integration Consultant handling a global retail Client, I took care of their
Business to Business (B2B) transactions with full depth operations knowledge. I was the point of contact for a quarter of a live project where I had handled six members and aligned the work with Business. I was pretty much excited to take care my new role and responsibility. I believe in one sentence: “
Opportunity never knocks your door twice”. The project was delivered on time and I was awarded with appreciations on behalf of client. I was given “
On the Spot” award on behalf of my organization in 2019. For the last one year I was involved in
Business Continuity Planning apart from my day-to-day job and it was successfully executed.
Sometimes we need to compromise a few things and then only we can achieve something. It is nothing but give and take policy. Because once a wise man said: “
If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you can’t. You are right in both the ways.”
