“Big is what Big does”. Spanning 34 countries, Aditya Birla Group is anchored by a strong force of over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities and ABG lived up to its mission and vision statements. ABG helped my family to build strong walls through
Ultratech Cement. As a sportsman I understood the value of my health insurance and as a son I value the life of my parents, all these problems are solved by
Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers Limited. Since I have been away from my family for education purposes ABG helped me to connect with my family through
Idea Cellular Ltd. Last but not the least ABG helped me to fancy myself and impress people around me with brands like
Allen Solly, Peter England, Richard Parker and many more services and services that added value to my personality and lifestyle. Directly or indirectly ABG played a big role in shaping me as an individual.
Odds and challenges faced to achieve ambitions and how I overcame!
Being a middle class boy from a small town in Andhra Pradesh, my journey is filled with many hardships. I never dreamed that one day I would study in one of the India’s premium business schools, IIM Ranchi. As
Edwin Markham put it,
“choices are the hinges of destiny”. Our lives hinge on some big choices we make. Studying in a small town did not gave me much exposure about the outside world. At that time I had no clue about the various opportunities and Institutes present in the country. Due to my parents support and my hard work I somehow got admission in NIT-Bhopal and I was very afraid to go there and study, as Bhopal is very far from my home town and I had never lived alone without my parents before that. My real journey started from there. I saw a whole new world out there, people from different cultures, religions and geography inspired me to work harder and aim bigger through their stories. I always strive towards achieving my short term goals. Though I have not yet reached my destination, many children from my native place and my younger cousins feel that I am their role model and try to follow me, which makes my parents proud and elated. As said by Pele "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do."
