Aditya Birla Group, a brand well known, has made its footprint in 34 countries in manufacturing, finance, infrastructure, clothing, carbon black and telecom sectors.
To me reflection of Aditya Birla Group is Ultratech cements. Since childhood owning a house of my own has always occupied my dream, as well portrayed in the advertisements of Ultratech cements. From basement to plastering, the cement formed the core. Watching its ads, always made me feel that dreams do come true and allowed me to dream bigger. It made me realise the value of the binding material to hold any dream in place.
When I found brands like Peter England, Pantaloons, Forever 21 and Louis Phillipe fall under Aditya Birla Group, it was the moment I felt, it has been welcomed by most of the households in various forms. It is because of the way it gained trust and appealed to the people, making its products and services feel like home to consumers.
The company grew by providing itself a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit and also being awarded National safety awards for mine and many more. Aditya Birla Group has taught me to appreciate and enjoy work, in its ‘Grey – the colour of strength’ campaign by celebrating work. Good reputation the company carries now is years of progressive work and passion with clear focus on each of its businesses.
Aditya Birla Group has wooed me by staying at par in reaching people creatively, building trust in them and providing timely marketing initiatives. It has taught me wisdom in every step ahead.
Challenges, taken positively, are just a little pat at the back:
I would like to put my life in short as ‘Perseverance always pays’. Once after my under graduation, the happiest days in my life was making my family meet its needs. I was happy that I was successful in doing that with my job in hand. Later, as an MBA aspirant, when I wanted to join a B-School, a series of questions like ‘Will my family be able to meet its needs?’, ‘How is it even possible?’ and ‘What do I really want right now?’ has struck my mind. I took a step back, gave me a few days’ time to analyse my situation and decide. That is the moment I realised the value of financial stability. I have felt the increase of my thirst to MBA at the commencement of every academic year. But it took me four years to bring betterment into my family and now I am in IIM Trichy. I saw this as an opportunity to learn the importance of every social, economic and environmental factors in deciding our lives. It is my patience, perseverance and the support of my family that drove me to this moment.
