One such dream of my mother was fulfilled by ABG, The dream of building her own home. I still remember when we asked our contractor about which cement to bring so he replied instantly “Ultratech hi lana, Sabse best hai ” and since then it's protecting us from every nook and corner.
I believe Aditya Birla touches every facet of one’s life. Clothing is one of the basic necessity for all individual and the presence of Aditya Birla in the fashion industry is enormous (Peter England, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe). We can’t think of a world without smartphones and the super fast networks that power them (Vodafone Idea Cellular). When it comes to insurance and other financial services you have Aditya Birla Capital Limited. These are just tip of the iceberg and I believe one has to appreciate the goods and services provided by Aditya Birla over the past decades.
This is how big, Aditya Birla Group is, It’s not just part of my life, but the lives of billions of people. Aditya Birla group continues to inspire all the business enthusiasts like me.

It is said that
“We are not defined by our challenges but lifted up by them.” For me, life has been a challenge too, but it came with constant learnings.
It all started when I saw the figure “
5.44” in my 1
st semester B.E mechanical result where I just managed to pass at the boundary. At that time, I was really fascinated to do an MBA and hence I wanted at least 7 CGPA throughout to get into a good MBA college. The main challenge in front of me was at the last semester where I had to score 9 SGPA to cross my 7 CGPA mark simultaneously with my 8 months Internship in my last semester. It was a hectic 12 hours (9 am to 9 pm) of college and work schedule for me. I took this as a challenge and strived hard to accomplish it and it paid me off finally. I scored exactly 9 SGPA and was top 5 in my batch. Scoring 5.44 SGPA in the first semester and 9 SGPA in last semester was an achievement to me.
Also, at my workplace, I was fortunate enough to get chance to demonstrate my leadership skills at an early stage of my professional life where I was asked to take responsibility and manage the test team of 4 members during emergency leaves of my test lead for a month.
We (Initially team of 3 including test lead) were working a project related to delivering smart meter functionality for the customers with a strict deadline and we were already running late. The situation became worse in the absence of lead and developed a very crunch situation for us. At this stage, my project Deliver Lead trusted me and asked me to take ownership of the project’s testing activities as I was the only one from scratch of the project. I was asked to manage all the testing activities which included preparing test scopes, deriving test scenarios, test data preparation, test execution, defect management, taking approvals, giving UAT sessions, etc. and daily reporting to managers and Client’s BA. Two new resources were included in the test team (one senior and other Junior to me) to whom I have to train and align them according to work. It was a hard time for me to get work done as required from new members initially but later it was all managed with cooperation from them and they caught up with the pace soon.
Our hard work ultimately led us to deliver the final product on time. I was highly appreciated by leads and client for the work and was also awarded performer of the month. It was a quite challenging task for me.
