B.) Challenges I faced and how I overcame them to achieve my ambitions?
As Rightly said that “Challenges are the stepping stone to success”. I feel that challenges are stepping stones to help a person in realizing the best way he can live his life.
Ever since my childhood I was not able to make it to the top 3 ranks of my class which unknowingly kept bringing my morale down year after year. Even though being one of those brightest students among others I always felt that I wasn’t that good as compared to others who were ranked high. Even my father always gave me examples of those people and suggested me to study like them which really made me unhappy with my performance. I even increased my study hours but wasn’t able to find what the real problem was, which led to overall decline of my interest in studies in subsequent years until I got the results of my 11th class and found that I was not studying at all. I was not able to grab things as I used to do before. My father even took me to career counselor where that guy after counselling for 15 minutes and asking some absurd questions formed a conclusion to what I will be doing in future and told my father that I doesn’t seem to be interested in studies and asked him to get me admitted to some Private College in my hometown for graduation as I am not competitive enough as others of my age. After my 12th class results were out even my father felt the same. There was something that I felt now going very wrong and was going to completely affect the next few years of my studies and my career as a whole that scared the hell out of me. At that very moment I planned a solo trip and started meeting some spiritual gurus and motivational speakers and saw that spark and energy in them attracted me and I tried to dig out the fact of the truth about my life which led me to the answer of my question of why I did not topped the class and that led me to loose my standing through these years and the answer that I got completely changed my way of living the life and helped me to sail through its crests and troughs.
“Don’t ever compare yourself with anyone in this World . Everyone is born with unique set of qualities. You can only win this race of life if you keep improving on yourself and to better yourself than you were yesterday and only this way you make your tomorrow better than today. “ - Saurabh Purwar
