PART-A

Every brand in this world has something to offer and lead in the business frontier. There is an approach that defines a brand and a sense of connect that we as customers rely on. Aditya Birla Group being an organization that offers not just a series of products but they let us dream big on every frontier. They make us believe that values are the most imperative cause that everyone should follow. It’s clear by their ‘Power of five’ values. We have often been walking on the roads not realizing that the cement used to build it was from the same brand from we have just bought a new pair of T-Shirt. Be it Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen or Peter England, we all have purchased from these brands to add values in our lives. The utmost fabric of these brands often gives us a feeling of elatedness. Aditya Birla Group has just changed and redefined fashion. By the way while writing this article I realize that I am wearing a Louis Philippe T-shirt. I have an interview tomorrow and there it is my Van Heusen suit all ready. My phone just rang and now I realize that I have been using an Idea Cellular for the past 3 years which is a part of ABG. Aditya Birla Group has been changing India since Independence by the set of products they offer. It’s been a part of our nation for so long, helping us nurture vision and adding values.

PART-B

Today I am a student at IIM Raipur. Though the journey seems a cakewalk to many, there are people who really have to make an extra effort. An effort that challenges you in every step you take. I believe strongly on the quote from the movie ‘Shawshank Redemption’, ‘hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies’. I have always had a speaking problem and I still have a stammering issue. This problem persists since childhood when I was unable to speak to anyone. Be it my parents or friends I always hurdled to talk and make lengthy conversations. Presentations in college was a like an arena where I stood being a non fighter. I had to overcome this fear of me accepting myself being the way I am. I started preparing myself and took small initiatives to participate and indulge in conversations. I realized that initiating anything needs just one push and I have already pushed myself and now there is no looking back. I do stammer now but the frequency has reduced to a great extent. Though the fear is gone but still there is a lot of scope for improvement, and I know I will improve. Facing interviews and group discussions of various colleges tested my fear. I cleared various interviews not just for MBA entrances but also earlier while I used to apply for jobs. And now I guess I have crossed that hurdle and still there is a lot more challenge to come and yes am ready.
