Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. It operates in nearly 35 countries with more than 120000 employees worldwide.
Now to answer the question why it is big company for me I would say
As a MBA student I always want to be a part of such big multinational company of Indian origin. And not only now but I am also been in tough with this company in one or the other way. And not only in tough but this has impacted me in lot sense unknowingly.
I think not only I but lot of people in India and other countries are impacted by this company.For example when we build a building for house, office or other purpose we use cement Ultratech which is product of ABG.
In telecom sector,lot of people use different company SIM cards for example
Vodafone,airtel,jio and idea. But most trusted brand for me and lot others have been idea which again a product by ABG.I am still using idea because it never let me down when it comes to customer services, internate sevices and anything related to phonecalls.Now after the merger of Idea and Vodafone ,idea has become the largest market capturing company in telecom sector in India.
Also very less people know that ABG is the largest manufacturer of carbon black worldwide and also Viscose staple fibre.
They also operates multi brand fashion retail chain named Pantaloons,which is very famous for holding different brands and variety of almost everything right from cloths to vehicles.
ABC means Aditya Birla Capital is the company which provides financial services.
That is why I am so impressed with this group that they are the part of almost each and everything in our life but we don’t have an idea about it.This is very much motivating that be a part of many lives,help them in their livelihood but don’t let them make your presence felt.
This is the effect that ABG has made on me and my life and I aspire to be a part of the one which has been part of my life.
ACHIEVED DESPITE THE ODD
This is the story when I was a pursuing my under graduation. I was working on the project named Acoustic Analysis Of Double Expansion Chamber. Basically it was related to silencers or mufflers.
Our project was to develop a muffler which reduces the noise coming through the exhaust of stationary diesel engine. The problem with our project was that we were short of instruments and the project was unaided.
Everybody was telling us not to go with that project because of these things.
But it was our choice to go with that project because we were interested in working related to engines and we also had committed professor.
I funded the project mostly and for project work we needed an amplifier,FFT analyser and actual testing setup which was not available with us. Then we asked other colleges to help for project work but many of them denied except few. So somehow we solved the problem for test setup but we had to pay for that and had to help those persons having authority of setup regarding things they want us to help.
So despite these odds we completed our project work on time but it took our hard efforts to get that.
