THE CHALLENGED I FACED IN MY LIFE...
Amidst all the confusions on what next after my under-graduation, I finally decided that pursuing MBA would give me more opportunities which will help me to build myself and work on my goals. I was working as an intern trainee in a firm in their quality control division, and it was my guide over there who encouraged me in taking up the next step towards my MBA. He always insisted that I must study in one of the best B-schools in India. So, by then I decided that I will give MBA entrance exam and planned on how to proceed for the upcoming months. I was so determined that this time I must achieve what I am aimed for and must not loose hope. Everything was set well, and my preparation was going at a right pace, I felt good about myself as I was able to manage my academic, my projects and my entrance exam preparation. But it all lasted for a very short period, and slowly things started becoming a mess. My final semester timetable came, it gave me a complete shock as one exam was on the day before my entrance exam and one was just a day after that. During the first two weeks of November I was completely hospitalized due to peptic ulcer as the problem got aggravated as the days went by. This hindered my whole preparation and I was about to give up.
The famous words of Muhammad Ali were my only constant motivation that made me sail through this rough tide, “I
hated every minute of my training, but I said, don’t quit suffer now and live the rest of your life a champion.” I changed my attitude towards what was lying in front of me and took this up as a major challenge and started working hard, whenever I found time, I worked on improving my speed and accuracy. On the D-, I told myself that
it’s now or never, and with all the determined I gave my exam. I was expecting a decent score and was reminding myself that If something unexpected comes, I must try again without losing hope. But I was surprised and overwhelmingly happy about my result. My interviews went very well and finally I was able to land in my dream institute. Looking back now, I feel a little proud of how persistent I was in taking the first step towards my dream.
