Aditya Birla Group, the name that was spread extensively throughout the world since ages has not only transformed the lives of several people but has also become an integral part of the life of billions of people across the globe both directly and indirectly and I’m no exception for the same. I have never imagined that a company can become a part of my life and family. In fact, I lately realized that ABG has been a part of our family even before I was born. I was even welcomed to this world by the products of ABG. The Ultra Tech walls of my home, the aluminum cans we used for storing food, tyres of the car that I drove, the garments I used (even today) have all come from this fabulous company. I was even introduced to the internet through Idea, again a part of ABG group. I have never realized all these facts until I retrospected my life till date very recently. I’m sure that this is going to be the same for nearly billions, if not at least a few hundreds of millions of people across the world.
At the same time, while retrospecting the major role of all the ABG group brands that have been in my life till date, I cannot stop myself from getting inspired by the group’s inspirational growth story. The consistent performance of the company’s management, commitment of their employees, the company’s continuous pursuit for excellence moved me from being a lazy couch potato to a person who always attempt to step out of the comfort zone to achieve something great in my life. I’m a normal guy from a small town in Andhra Pradesh which is far away from many of the technological advances that were around in the cities from a long time. But it is Idea that brought internet connectivity to my town that helped me get connected to the happenings in the outside world. The Idea internet helped me to take informed decisions at major phases in my life. The extraordinary journey of Mr. Seth Shiv Narayan Birla has been an inspiration for me throughout my life till date and I believe that following his principles and discipline will help me in achieving my future goals. The company has also taught me financial discipline in my life through their financial services. At the moment, I feel secure in my life both financially and in other aspects as I know that there are several dedicated intellectuals who are driven by good values under the umbrella of Aditya Birla Group have been working tirelessly to make my life more comfortable.
I’m still awestruck by the company’s reach into every nook and corner of the country and even Internationally. Many times, I say to myself that ABG is omnipresent and will be everywhere in my life irrespective of the place and occasion. I clearly see the dedication and hard work put behind by the company’s employees to make the company what it is today. I learnt that consistency and the thirst to expand one’s knowledge can make a person an expert in any chosen field just like the ABG group did. So, I no longer see Aditya Birla Group just as a conglomerate but as an inspiration for my future endeavors.
