Aditya Birla Group holds massive importance in my life. Their products and services are remarkable and this I can say because one of their products helped me in a very difficult time. This was in year 2015. After completing my graduation, I joined one company in Chennai. This was the first step I took in my career and for the first time was away from home. Being born and raised in Delhi, staying in Chennai was bit difficult for me. But I was fortunate enough to get good friends who were always there to help me. It was in November when Chennai faced the worst floods in the history. Whole life came to a standstill. There was no electricity, no network and just water everywhere. The offices were closed, and we could not contact anyone due to unavailability of network. The airport and railway services were closed. The whole life in Chennai came to a standstill. For people like us far who were away from home it was a nightmare. For us major issue was unavailability of network. There our families were not able to contact us. This happened for 3 days. We all flatmates used to check our phones again and again so that we could talk to our family. But in none of us phone network was available. But after 3 days of suffering a miracle happened. I was using Idea network at that time. My phone was the first one to show the network availability. We all started jumping with happiness and we all contacted our family members then and there only. We informed them that we were safe, and it was a relief for everyone. That time it was Idea network which helped us reach out to our families. So, Idea holds a very important place in my heart. I am still using the same network as I believe this is the only network that I can rely on. Though I have faced lots of challenges in achieving my ambition so far but one major challenge that I faced was to believe in my myself and not what people were saying. First important decision that I took in my life was to start my professional career just after completing my graduation. I got an offer from a good company and I decided to go for it. Also, the location that I got was Chennai. The salary in hand was not very high. Lot of my friends and relatives started pouring their advice that I should not go away from home and should look for some options here only. But I was firm on my decision and I went for that job. There were lot of challenges there. I knew nobody there and language was also a barrier there. In office also mostly, they used to communicate in their local language. I faced many health issues also there. But I believed in myself and work there for almost 1.5 years. I was appreciated by my supervisors and clients of my work. The next challenge that I faced was to clear my cat exam along with my job. I was working in Gurgaon at that time and I had to commute daily from Delhi to Gurgaon. It was very difficult for me to cope up with my studies. But I utilized my time very efficiently to prepare for the exams. I utilized my travelling time and at office also during lunch I used to study for some time. People suggested me to leave my job and then prepare for exams. But I had faith on myself and gave my best to achieve my dream of pursuing MBA.
