The vision of the Chairman, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla whose deep commitment towards creating a brand of immense worth based on solid foundations of impeccable values, has seen the Aditya Birla Group journey across many a milestone to emerge as a multinational power-brand of statesman stature, in the matter of just two decades.
The Group’s radical shift from being architects of a global India to a powerhouse across the globe & various sectors has now led to the understanding of how ABG is a big part of peoples’ lives at every step. One of those sectors where ABG had an impact in my life is ‘Aditya Birla Bizlabs’, Aditya Birla Bizlabs is a platform that enables innovative startups to gain market access and new customers to rapidly scale up by leveraging the Group’s global reach and business expertise, back in 2015 Bizlabs received over 1,200 applications from across retail, financial services, mobility and data analytics & new technologies. Over 50+ startups were shortlisted for Bizlabs core program which was further shortlisted to 35 for the Bizdirector day. 24 startups made the cut for a 20-day incubation programme in October 2015 to provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to do business with some of the group's companies.
One of the incubated startups was ‘Instakash’ which was the first company where I worked as a Software Design Engineer, under Gaurang Sanghvi, founder, where he always kept mentioning how the incubation has helped him and the company by gaining market insights and giving a clear vision. Working with Instakash has turned me from a fresh college graduate to a professional capable enough to work as a Clerk-to-CEO, in a very small span of time. Thus if ABG had not shown interest in our vision, Instakash might not have continued after 2015.
The evolution of the brand with time to keep up with the versatile eye-catching recognition-screens of the present day while still being true to its roots is a symbol of its genuineness, client-commitment and above all factors is why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life.
