“You can escape even your heartbeat once, but you cannot escape from Aditya Birla Group.” That’s the reach of Aditya Birla Group aka ABG in the world, especially in India. Aditya Birla Group- an Indian multinational conglomerate, founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857, operates in 35 countries. The group has left no stones unturned as it has interests in viscose staple fibre, branded apparel, metals, cement, chemicals, fertilisers, financial services, telecom, IT services etc. You name it, and the Birla family has a certain relation with it. Being the third largest private sector company in India, its tagline –“Big in your life” is very apt as it is gradually evolving into an ecosystem. Today, it’s impossible to find an Indian who has not even encountered a single product or service provided by Aditya Birla Group and I am certainly not among the leftovers. ABG had been my constant companion all through my life. In fact, I am not even kidding when I state the aforementioned quote totally applies to me. From packing of kitchen food in Freshwrapp aluminium foil since childhood to buying fashionable clothes of brands like Allen Solly, Linen Club, Van Heusen from Pantaloons, be it casuals, formals or party wears, ABG has made a long way to prove its mettle in my life. I still remember bags of ultra-tech cement beneath the building for construction of my house. And during the times when other sim operators were charging a hefty sum for internet packs, Idea came up with budget packs and literally, the Idea changed the world for Indians! I can undoubtedly tell that in whichever business this group steps into, it maintains quality above all and never betrays its customers. This is a group which not only has changed my way of living, but it has affected the billions of people of India. Since 1857, ABG has laid down the foundation stone of various companies in almost all sectors. One thing each one of us have seen or travelled in, which is Indian Railways. A large share of the copper requirement of Indian Railways is fulfilled by Birla Copper. Hindalco Industries of Aditya Birla Group is the world’s largest aluminium rolling company and is also a leading producer of copper. It is estimated that every second can in the world uses Birla Copper. The most used device in today’s world i.e. Smartphones & the most desirable luxury cars are also covered by Hindalco Aluminium. Their contribution in the development of infrastructure can be seen through the beautiful Bandra- Worli sea link, Mumbai. And of course, who can forget Ambassador Cars? During the times when the world is facing problem of unemployment, the group employs more than 120,000 employees worldwide. This group has emerged as one of the most trusted groups in India. Thus, the contribution of ABG to Indian economy cannot be substituted by anything else.  Indian economy, if it is one of the fastest developing economy today, it is because of these wonderful families. After independence, employment, education and infrastructure was one of the most required facilities which India needed. And during that time of struggle, we had this Birla family of highly skilled and capable people who picked up the economy from that stage and brought it here, where the majority of population is not concerned about the basic requirements, but talking about luxuries. Hereby, welcome to India, the Fastest growing country in the World along with one of the fastest growing Businesses (Aditya Birla Group) in the World!
