Part - A Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life?
It seems almost impossible to be in India and have not ever come across the name Aditya Birla or to never be associated with it in any way. This applies not only for us, living in the 21st century but dates back to the generations before us.
ABG having spread over 14 sectors and 42 brands, there cannot be a moment where one does not find himself/herself surrounded by it. Since 1850s, when the industry came into being until now, when it has grown to be the country’s third largest private conglomerate, it has impacted lives by not just providing products but has had an immense contribution to the nation in its most difficult times, the freedom struggle.
Impacting approximately 1.34 crore people, this conglomerate touches the lives of each and every individual in a similar manner to how it does mine and maybe even much more than this. Just like the way Ultratech connects people by building homes and roads, ABFRL connects people from different cultures and different backgrounds, and Vodafone Idea connects people from all across the world. I found ABG touching my life in various ways by helping me stay connected with the world and the ones I care for, helping me feel my best in every situation and boosting my confidence and allowing me to explore and build myself. It has not only connected and touched my life but also shaped the story of which I am a part.
It’s only when you look deeper into a firm, do you actually realise how deep an impact a company can have on you. Now when I look, I realise so many of the things I use, might have been manufactured by ABG, probably even the one’s I am not aware of. It's only when you realise this, that you get to know what they mean when they say ‘touching lives’.
