Aditya Birla Group- Transcending lives and Making Impacts
Aditya Birla Group started by Ghanshyam Birla opened doors for the Indian talent to spread across the Global arena. Given the roots spread across the variety of domains helping mainly the common man to experience higher standards at an affordable price. Like any other typical customer of the Market, I was not specific about the product and the corporate group that has bought it into the market. I was more particular about the product which can meet my demands. Thanks to this competition, I looked closer into the Aditya Birla Group and realized the amount of Hard work and Thought process that the group initiates to serve and make life easy for many of those customers like me. I am particularly astonished that at each step of my life, ABG has had a significant contribution to help me sail through smoothly. The list has some of the best feelings that I had while Travelling on the Bandra-Worli sea link which made to feel like belonging to much developed countries, spending hours of my travel in one the most extended railway networks helping it with raw materials to be at that place and Undoubtedly the apparels which not only makes one look stylish but also fits into most of the monthly budgets.
Besides all these, I am proud to be a customer of the ABG group because of the massive numbers of employment that the group laid and developing a platform for many of the professionals to pursue their careers. I as a person got more connected to the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities that the group has taken up in India. A considerable amount of their group reserves are being spent in helping the needy. Being a part of the social cause for a brief period, I respect the groups CSR vision to help the society in developing a Sustainable way of life which will leave a much beautiful impact on the downtrodden sections.
Being a Kid from a backward small town in West Godavari district to Graduate from IIT BHU Varanasi and currently to be a part of IIM Visakhapatnam, I was always kept under pressure testing out my hindrance to the challenges and every time I was under pressure I learned not only the art of survival but figured out a way to develop skills and abilities to make me better. I feel every challenge is a new one and none of them is less than the previous one. There are many challenges I could get through, but a few stand out as they helped me to get exposure to the current culture. First challenge I could accomplish is getting into an IIT competing with all the Olympiad champs in a short span of 6 months. It taught me to be consistent and helped significantly to boost my confidence, which I was unable to develop before that. Second in the list is when I got placed at IPAC as a Junior associate and my deliverables are way higher than my skills. As a part of it, I had to deal with clients who hold a political career much higher than my age whose expectations from our group are significantly high. For me to be able to liaison with them in building strategies and to make sure the execution of the campaign at the grass root level was a steep task. To handle such thing swiftly, I learnt to prepare a case as strong as possible and made sure that every input from my side is triangulated through various networks which I developed over time. I developed a habit of supporting my information through statistical/ Retro data by analysing and drawing conclusions that are in total support to my input. The primary thing I learned is that I must make sure that I should be 100 per cent convinced with my thought to be presented well. Every challenge helped in one or the other way and made me confident to deal much more of them in the coming days.
