The Group has contributed immensely to economic and technological growth of India. The group’s pioneer Ghanshyam Das Birla, popularly known as GD Birla, was very active in India’s independence movement. He was very close to Mahatma Gandhi and Birla house was at the center stage of India’s freedom struggle. This bespeaks the Birla family’s love towards motherland. Meticulous planning, strong business sense backed by the Birla family’s value system has made the group successful in each of its diverse business vertical.

There would have been a time in most of our lives when we feel demotivated and we struggle to overcome that feeling. Everyone must have faced this situation at some point of time in their life. Presence of challenges in your life is the validation that you are alive. We all face difficult challenges in life. Some become extremely tough to overcome, especially when the odds are stacked at us. Going against all odds, is something we are capable of doing. I believe to overcome any challenges one should need to have “never quit” attitude in life.
There are many ways to overcome failure and achieve goals. However, what it requires is just mental shift in thinking. It requires a certain way of looking at things in your life, and steering your thoughts in the right direction while sowing the seeds of success to reap the rewards at a later date. It’s not how many times you get knocked down that counts. It’s how many times you get up in life that matter. If you fail the first, second, or third time, don’t give up. Pick yourself up, and learn from why you’ve failed, and move on in positive direction. Learn what made you fail at overcoming these challenges. I’d like to conclude with a quote –
