ABG touches lives in various ways in not only the Indian context but also globally. Pantaloons and Grasim suitings have a global outreach, their apparels are loved by many throughout the world.
For me ABG is group is very big because I am a 15 year old loyal consumer of Idea cellular. I hail from a small town, Bhopal, and idea cellular was one of the pioneers in the city with an all around network coverage. Back when I was 12 years old and had got my first cell phone, I have been using Idea since that time.
Then came it’s advertisements with Abhishek Bachhan saying “What an idea sirjee”, Idea cellular became a household name. Other marketing campaigns of “Talk and Walk-Walk and Talk” encouraged a healthy use of cellular phones. The only reason why I was and still are able to keep in touch with everyone of my friends is because of Idea Cellular.
The merger of Idea and Vodafone has made it the biggest network in the country and me being a loyal customer, couldn’t be more proud of that fact. It is an amazing fact that my small black and white phone 15 years ago, and my One Plus 6T smart phone still has the same network. Idea Cellular has grown along with me, from GPRS based internet to today’s 4G internet. That’s why Idea cellular plays a big part in my life.
Part B
Primary objective of life is to write a book. I am a very creative person and currently am a published content writer in various e magazines. I wish to travel the world and understand various experiences the world offers to us. For me the world is a vast place and a lifetime isn’t sufficient to understand the qualms and quirks of the world at large. This could be placed as a personal ambition. Something I really want myself to do. On the professional front, I bring a lot of new thinking, out of the box thinking and creativity to the table. I wish to work for a company that aligns with my outlook of life of being realistic and achieving targets. I wish to work in the marketing dept of a FMCG company , initially as a brand manager and gradually work my way up the ladder to head the marketing dept. That would be my professional ambition. Back In my engineering days I faced a personal tragedy when I Lost my grand mother. She was very close to me and I couldn’t cope with her death. Hence my grades were affected so much so, I nearly suffered a year drop. However after various therapist sessions I realized that even my late grand mother would not have liked to see me fail. Hence I worked double hard to top the exams in the 6
th Semester. Even though it seems a minor incident in the bigger scheme of things but I consider it to be a personal achievement. It taught me how to deal with adversities, and to overcome problems and succeed.
