PART- A As I woke up this morning in my house with walls made of Ultratech Cement, I struggled to get out of my cozy Aditya Birla Yarn blanket, its always a pain to leave it and to motivate myself to drag myself out of the bed to start getting ready. In my favourite satin night dress from Planet Fashion, I slip on my comfy black footwear from Pantaloons and enter the washroom to freshen up with my most preferred Ted Baker Body Wash. I don’t know what I would’ve done had it not been for the toiletries from Ted Baker. The fragrance is just so lovely and refreshing, its makes for the perfect start to the day. As I step out of the washroom, I’m faced by the biggest question in my everyday life. What to wear? After spending full twenty minutes in trying out various options, as always, I finally decide to put on my favourite white T-Shirt from People and my brand new flared denims from my most preferred, Forever21. As I started putting my cute stationary that I recently got from More, into my Allen Solly bag, I heard my Idea Cell phone ringing, and it suddenly hit me that I was running late by 15 minutes and it was my friend calling me to ask if I had left yet. I immediately rushed out of my apartment to leave for college. It was my first day at college today and I wanted it to be perfect and guess who made it all so convenient for me to make it happen! Can’t thank Aditya Birla Group enough for supporting my day to day life in ways which I often end up taking for granted. For providing me with superior quality in everything I need and making life easy.   PART-B I’m the younger of the two children in the house, extremely pampered and never hit or scolded by any of my parents, ever. As I finished my fourth year of B. Tech and got ready to join my first Job at one of the Big 4s in Bangalore, I was super excited. Given the great brand name it had and the kind of hype there was in my family about me joining the company, I just couldn’t wait to start working. I was always this hard working kid and had the tendency to deliver more than what I was expected to do. Always. The day of Joining finally came and we got done with our orientation and basic training, I was put in the SAP EWM practice. I also happened to get the biggest project that was there with the company then. My joy knew no bound when I got to know that I was being made a part of such a huge project. As we got on board with the project, things started to take a not-so-pleasant turn. Very soon, I realized that things were definitely not as rosy as they seemed. There was just too much work and it always felt like the team was understaffed. There was unimaginable pressure from every individual in the team. The pressure to deliver on very stringent deadlines. The pressure to work for more than 12 hours for months, so much so, I found myself working in office for 16 hours on Republic Day. Despite the fact that we were compensated massively for the extra hours we put in, being a fresher, I was just not used to work in such conditions. It was extremely challenging to deliver the quality of work that the client was expecting in the time frame that we were given. I just didn’t know what to do. The thought of quitting came to me several times. I spoke to my parents as well. Like always, they were okay with any decision of mine. They just wanted me to be happy. While I was fully inclined to quit, something within me stopped me from actually going and putting down my papers. I was never a quitter! A strange voice from within told me to get going. And I simply decided to stick with the company. I stopped cribbing and started giving the project my 100 percent. I stopped thinking that I was a fresher. I stopped thinking that it was something I had never done before. I just kept doing whatever came my way and there was no looking back. By the end of that project, I had received Onsite Recognition from the client twice. It was a personal achievement for me, more than anything. I grew in ways I hadn’t thought I would. I learnt to be resilient.
