AIMS, Bangalore sets high placement standards – 2015 batch
The year 2015 witnessed brisk placement activity at AIMS from both blue chip and start up companies. A total of 77 companies made 135 placement offers during the 2015 placement season at AIMS. 45 of these 77 companies were first time recruiters from the Institute. This proves the faith and trust of the industry in the exacting standards set by AIMS, Bangalore.
Highly reputed blue chip companies like Pantaloon Retail, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, Berger Paints, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, DHFL, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and several such companies picked up students in good numbers for varied managerial openings in their organization.
Around 55% of students were recruited by Sales & Marketing outfits. This keeps in tune with the nature of first time recruiters this year at AIMS that were predominately Sales & Marketing centric. Vodafone India, Canon India, Videocon Industries, Getit Yellow Pages, Prione Business Services (JV between Amazon and Catamaran), Simplilearn, Capital First, Karvy Financials literally rained placement offers on AIMS, Bangalore Students
The Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector pioneered the placement activities by offering 49% of total offers made. This highlights the growing presence and exemplary credentials of AIMS, Bangalore in the world of finance.
Four AIMS, Bangalore students bagged prestigious international offers from IT services firms and paint companies. They are to manage the companies’ operations in the Middle East and South Asian locations.
AIMS, Bangalore continued its vibrant relations with companies like Deloitte, E&Y, Future Group, Tech Mahindra, Abbott Laboratories India, ICICI Bank and Indusind Bank who continued to recruit students in good numbers to further their business prospects.
The placement highlights for the year 2015 have been the peak salary of Rs. 17 lakhs per annum and average annual salary of Rs. 5.43 lakhs that completely justifies the faith that students have reposed in the Institute.
