Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life
I remember as a kid and even now, when I see the tall skyscrapers, when I walk & ride over the endless and durable roads; the quality of the roads which the world have, when my father called my mother when I was too young; the ring of the phone I heard when It rang (Telecom services), our lives became more simpler and more systematic. It gave me immense pleasure and a ray of happiness from within that I’m a part of a new and a happier world and the main factor behind revamping of the new world is the Aditya Birla Group.
The smooth process of engineering and the material involved behind the scenes while making bridges, roads that cover the endless & impossible distances, the clothes which we wear, the financial services which the group is taking care of, the Telecom services through which the world is getting connected strongly day by day, the Non-ferrous metals which we witness in daily lives; Hindalco Novelis which is responsible for making a more cleaner, smarter and a wonderful planet. All the sectors are very well facilitated by the Aditya Birla Group. The group is constantly responsible for restructuring a new world, creating a sustainable life for everyone out here. The vibrant window of the new world opened for me, when I purchased and wore a black suit of ‘Van Heusen’, that I have it along with me for more than 4 years and will be with me always. Still now, when I put it on, it gives me a sense of pride and fills me with a confidence from within. The decision of choosing the brands of Aditya Birla Group was really fantastic and have created a niche hallmark for myself and for my family that embraces me with joy and gives me a broader outlook to see the new world.
The evolution of the brand from time to time has created a big position in my life and have enhanced my quality of life to its best.

I have 2 instances where I have faced challenges in my life in ‘Personal’ as well as in ‘Professional front’. They are as follows:
A major jolt to my father's business in the year 2012 brought a severe financial crisis to the family. No sooner did I realised that over the period of years, I became matured and responsible in understanding the intricacies of business. After the financial crisis, I became penny-wise wise and became more grateful towards the Almighty.
My approach towards life and people changed. Time and again, I still give suggestions for alternate business strategies so as to raise the income bar.
My grandparents had always been there for me since childhood. But, in my adult life; I have a responsibility towards them. So, I take care of them to the best of my ability. I kept a track of medicines which my grandparents take.
Now I am much more “responsible”, “focused”, “keen observer” and have an ability of farsightedness. My family takes pride in the fact that I share responsibilities at each front. I learnt to handle situations effectively with a positive attitude. This has transformed me into a patient human.
Another one is, With the zeal to make a difference in the organisation; I, together with my colleagues were assigned a project in operations. we needed to reduce the defects in the plastic moulded parts by using a process improvement technique. The technique helped to increase the process efficiency. I along with my team had applied the technique with some quality reliability tools.
We were about to achieve the results. But much to our surprise, we were not meeting the desired levels. Upon reaction, we realised our fallacies at the multiple levels. While our intent was not wrong, it should have been backed up by a solid plan of action. We realised that our teaching was not always equal to the learning.
As a team, the “coordination and session planning” had a few gaps. This was a very important lesson for us in aspects of team planning. We improved that and achieved the desired results. I learnt more about 'Teamwork' and how important is to be in a team to achieve desired results.
Moreover, I learnt more about 'Patience' such that, how one needs to be patient while working in a team. As the results take time and one cannot achieve them straight away in one go. Therefore, I felt patience is the key to many problems as well. It is just that, one needs to be a good observer and be patient.
These challenges have helped me to see life from a different perspective and have instilled positivity inside me that helps to steer through the various adversities of my life and ultimately helped me to fulfil my ambitions.
