Some things in life go unnoticed and essentially, we take them for granted. The strength of the four walls I live within, the aluminum shade that saved me from scorching Sun, yet allowed me to play in open. Whenever I look through my wardrobe to find the best outfit to stand out in the group, there was always something to suit my preferences. I still remember those days, chilling with my gang on the corner table of the canteen and teasing each other for every small thing with the phenomenal tagline of that time- "What an idea Sirji?" Now that I have been surrounded by vagaries of life, I have a partner, though intangible it has everything insured.
Today when I am here at one of the most enriching b-schools of the country to understand the nitty-gritty of the business world, I am reminded of all those moments shared above and how one entity took care of it all. Like an umbrella, the Aditya Birla Group has always had my back and I wasn’t slightly aware of it. Like a thread, it helped bind them all.
Every time I see the rising Sun, I am reminded how ABG has impacted me, and the people around me. And every time I see a new product launch, I somehow end up finding the same one thing that connects ABG and me. It all started with that “Honest Shirt” that I wore back in my high school farewell and truly it was a "Beginning of good things". That is our mutual love for growing and learning.
Since its inception, ABG has been learning from its users and constantly evolving to encapsulate a plethora of products, services, and experiences. On many similar lines, since my birth, I have been on a perpetual learning spree and evolving. From being an early walker to playing cricket, from dancing to exploring new places, from buying products to help to sell them, and from acquainting myself with some celebrated literature to trying my hands-on guitar. The list is endless.
Life always puts us in a trough, so that we come up stronger to the UPPER CREST. Being into a sales role for over two years has made me experience the different aspects of human emotions. It is that PASSION within to give my best which has always helped me to face the challenge with complete COMMITMENT. Working in a customer-centric role always demands one to be agile and have SPEED in responding to all the queries. Following the SEEMLESSNESS approach has been an integral part of my way of handling different situations. Working with cross-functional teams, ranging from logistics to accounts to production has helped me provide a 360-degree solution to my customers. One always tends to cement the bond with its customers. But, working within the compliance and maintaining INTEGRITY is what makes one a trustworthy employee.
ABG has played a pivotal role in helping me become the person I am today. Be it the Louis Phillipe first impression in interviews, or the ever-evolving IDEA behind telecom services, it is everything from a noun to adverb to an adjective, and in a way, it epitomizes my outlook towards/of life, to be the best in whatever field I choose. Finally, I would say ABG has been way big in my life and I am sure at some point or other it must have been BIG IN YOUR LIFE too.
