We as humans are social animals who constantly need support from each other. In order to survive in this competitive world, we are always in need of a companion or a partner who would satisfy our everyday needs. I also have an unparallel partner in the form of Aditya Birla Group who have been catering to all my needs right from my childhood days till now. Aditya Birla Group founded in 1857 had a vision to serve the people of India at a time when we were struggling for our own existence. It is spread across 35 countries with 1.2 lacs employees working tirelessly to reach to millions of people globally to add value and purpose in their life.
Aditya Birla Group has impacted directly or indirectly at every stage of my life. It has spread its operations in almost every sector like metals, fibre, cement, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO & IT services. We as humans are heavily depended on metals for our daily needs. Aditya Birla Group flagship company HINDALCO is the prime producer of copper, aluminium etc. which has affected my life immensely. One of the basic dream of any individual particularly Indian is to have their home. Aditya Birla Group company Ultratech Cement, largest cement company in India has ensured with its economical prices that people like me could pursue their dream of having their individual homes. Apart from this when I started to appear for placements in my graduation, I purchased an Allen Solly suit without knowing that it is Aditya Birla Group company. As time passed away I started to develop a strong liking for products from Louis Phillips, Peter England , Van Huesen etc. without knowing that these brands belongs to Aditya Birla Group. But now when I see today in the market, I could not make my mind to buy products other than ABG brands.
PART - B
Life is all about how you deal with challenges thrown at you. The way one handles and react to those challenges defines the individual character.
I too have been blessed to have faced a number of challenges in my life which has changed me as person. One such challenge that I faced was my IIT- JEE preparation. I did my 10
th class from Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT Powai, Mumbai. Since my school was inside the IIT Powai campus, I was greatly influenced by the students of the college. After realising the importance of being into such a reputed college and having that IIT tag for the rest of your life, I decided to prepare for IIT-JEE examination. At the end of my board exam, I decided to start my preparation from Kota, without realizing that how difficult it is going to be for me to stay away from my parents. Now when I think back I still ponder from where did I gathered that courage to convince my parents for letting me go after my dreams. But the day I landed in Kota, I realised that it is a completely different world where everyone is so passionate to get into the top engineering college of India. I started doubting about myself whether I will be able to compete with other students. But after days of doubting myself I decided to give my all in order to achieve my dream. During the course of the journey I had lots of disappointing moments which used to break me into tiny pieces and then again I had to collect those pieces to ensure that I do not get digressed from what I had planned before coming to this place. After my first attempt I had to face rejection as I could not clear the exam. But with the support of my parents I decided to appear again next year for the exam. After preparing hard the next year , I finally secured admission into IIT-ISM Dhanbad.
This entire span of three year has taught me to remain patient in adverse conditions and keep working hard towards my aim without thinking about anything else.
