“Beauty may be dangerous, but intelligence is Lethal”
It is said that Beauty with a brain, a lethal combination is rare to find. But this statement nullifies itself when you are among so many such examples in a prestigious college as IIM, Udaipur. One such person I would quote is the first person I met when I came here and now is my best friend, Saloni. I have known her for over a year and I what I love about her the most is that she always stays her true self. She gave me a whole new perspective towards the world.
Apart from being beautiful, she has got a beautiful mind too. She has got all the qualities that today’s world commands. Her beautiful nature, honesty, compassion, genuineness, and modesty shows the true connection with the universe at the spiritual level. She is one of the most confident females I’ve encountered on this campus. She is a perfect combination of beauty with a brain who can potentially model for anything and has broken the stereotype that all pretty women are dumb. She is loved by almost everyone here because of the qualities she possesses. Her sharp and flexible brain has helped her in getting a place in the placement cell of our college. I know that when she decides on something that is beneficial for her, she gives all her efforts to it and is disciplined to the extent never to give up. Her way of communicating with people and her confidence in herself to aim higher and achieve success is what is more attractive. I am also sure that with this discipline and winning attitude, she is going to be a very successful woman and help break the stereotypes that we have going on for years. She is an example that we all are capable of achieving all that we desire and gender has no relevance to it. Open-mindedness is what our society needs the most today. I am proud to be a part of such college where I have met so many strong, confident and independent women who are on the track of shaping the future better, and I am proud to be one of them. The college has provided us with all the support in regards to this and has helped grow our knowledge and experience to a whole another level. It is for IIM that we have learnt to be professional and to bring discipline to our lives with better organizing.
A message to share with the world is that "The world needs strong women. Women who lift and build others, who love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. Women of indomitable will."
If given a chance, I would like to work with the Fashion and Retail Sector of the Aditya Birla Group. It is one of the biggest groups in this division. Fashion involves creativity and new ideas. It is the most appropriate choice for my skill set because I prefer to explore new trends and move forward along with the developing cultures and the world. Also, because of working as a management intern in the media industry, my interest in fashion has increased. Therefore, I seek to make my career in the industry of my interest which will help me to gain more knowledge.
