Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life
Being an MBA student, I constantly have to dress to impress. Almost every MBA candidate in India knows the struggle of finding a good set of business formals- something that screams comfort and confidence. You really appreciate the term "power dressing" when you wear a suit, fix your tie and shine your shoes. I remember walking to the nearest Van Heusen store to get my first set of busuness formals. The store speaks to my classic aesthetic, all clean lines, luxe and sophestication. It's flabergasting really, that the same company that manufactures cement, churns out the most beautiful pieces of business formals. Fashion has been my way of expressing myself, a weapon of mass attraction! From GEPIWAT, Admissions to the plethora of guest lectures and presentations, my classic Van Heusen suits are my trusty partners in crime (and study!). Van Heusen and Louis Philippe come to my rescue, offering premium clothing that make me look and feel professional, confident and intelligent.
Challenges I’ve overcome to achieve my ambitions
All of us have different views on what life means. Some people choose to be optimistic and focus on the bright side whereas some choose to indulge in constant grumbling about the adversities of their life. What is life but transitioning challenges. Like most of my peers, the most challenging aspect of life has been MBA entrance examinations. While I have always been a topper in my life, for the first time I found myself pit against the brightest (and most hardworking) minds of our generation. I persevered, worked as hard as I ever have. Preparation can be a long and lonely process, but I told myself there is light at the end of the tunnel. Lo and behold, I am now dancing in my light at SIBM Bengaluru! The hardwork, blood, sweat and tears have all paid off. I continue to burn the midnight oil, I continue to set my sights higher each day.
