.MAKING AN IMPACT AS AN INDIVIDUAL- No human is born perfect and in the image of the almighty. Our defects as the uniqueness and the journey to overcome them defines to what extent we have lived and what extent merely survived. It is easier to improve on a foundation rather than starting from the scratch. From the time that I can remember, I had been a chubby kid and unnaturally, hostel life just helped me in adding the pounds. Things went from bad to worse when I weighed 108 kg while joining college. During my 2nd year, I decided to be the change. I began to jog, control diet sincerely, all this just to surprise my parents. Soon, I had grown physically fit and uplifted my personality due to the self-confidence it brought. I was completing a marathon of 10 km every day, along with a disciplined intake of food and overall schedule. The day I met my mother, her tears of joy, surprise, and concern alone were enough to fill me with the satisfaction of having transformed from 108 kg to 72 kg within 6 months. It was then that I realized my potential and the role of determination in transmuting the human nature. I understood that it is we who defines our capabilities or our limits. If you put your heart and soul into something, success is a sure phenomenon
. This achievement of mine did not limit the optimism and rays of home to my eyes alone. Very soon, the news of this feat had spread beyond friends and family circles. The proof gave many an overweight people a conviction in the possibility. It was not very far that I began to guide fellowmen and inspire them to achieve their dreams, be it physical transformation or an overall sense of hope.
ROLE OF ABG IN MY LIFE- the Aditya Birla group has gone beyond the definition of the term conglomerate, becoming an entity that reaches out to the human heart. During my many years at hostel, it was ABG again, in the form of Vodafone Idea that connected my home sick heart to my family. Now, ABG is a name that I have grown to trust and someone that tries to make me go distances beyond my previous self.
