“Big is what big does”- This is not the first ABG campaign that inspired me and several others like me. As a teenager, Idea ads were the once which brought a new perspective to my imagination. Even before I ever purchased a ABG product, the brand had been inspiring me to think differently, think big. This idea to think big and different is ingrained in the philosophy of ABG.
ABG has been a big part of my life. Whether it is the railways that connects the whole of India to whom ABG provides copper or the car I use whose tyre has some components from Birla Carbon. Apart from this, ABG has also been present in the fashion and retail industry where they have some of the biggest names under their umbrella like Allen Solly, Louis Philippe not to mention Pantaloons. Also, things like cover glass for smartphones are also have a part from Hindalco aluminium which again is a part of ABG. Every aspect of our life has been influenced in one way or the other by ABG.
As a future CEO, we are being taught how position of responsibility warrants us think not only about the employees of the company but also for the community as a whole. ABG has set another perfect example for future CEOs like us by having a huge involvement in the CSR activities under different domains. From helping kids getting vaccinated for Polio to helping set up more than 4000 women groups. Thinking about sustainability of the poor among the villages, ABG has also helped set up 1000 bio gas plants.
