The Red Building is quite unique in itself. It’s just one building but this building fulfills the dreams of 200+ students every year. Located at the central location of Dilwalo ki Dilli, this place is full of energy and vibrant people. The DU life is what the students can experience here and the college is known for its brand and this brand truly is unparalleled. The exposure that any student can get here is simply priceless. This campus pushes people to move out of their comfort zones and reach the potential they could never have imagined they had. And of course, the ROI that the college offers. That is something which has no competition whatsoever.

The campus is majorly student-run. The bond that one would get to create here over the next two years would definitely be lifelong. Everyone sincerely stands by and for each other at the time when there exist only cutthroat competitions everywhere around.

Memorable classroom experience

Memorable classroom experience was that during the induction program, we were all divided into groups and different groups were to act as the manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of beer. At the end, the teams with the maximum profits under various situations were to be declared as the winner. The game was very interesting and by the end of it each team was actually taking their roles quite seriously. The entire activity was a fun learning experience. We were to bid and guess the demand in the market and with every win and lose, it felt as though we were actually in the market dealing with beer.

Introducing some of my crazy batchmates

Sweenal Meshram

Sweenal and I happen to be roommates in pg. She hails from Nagpur, Maharashtra. A quiet person but a wonderful singer. The funniest thing about her is that she talks in her sleep. She at times even starts singing while sleeping. And she does this in Marathi so I do not understand at all and she keeps calling herself dumb. But she has a golden heart.

Richa Bubna

Richa is a friend from day 1 of the college. She’s from Kolkata and not a Bengali though. Though she can speak fluent Hindi but her grammar is so incorrect. But as a common human tendency of catching habits of the people, even I end up talking like her. She is insomniac. She can actually go without sleeping for 2-3 days straight.

Harsha Agarwal

Harsha is also someone I’ve known from day one. She is always sleepy and can literally sleep at anywhere anytime. She has been caught sleeping during lectures severally times and even after classes, she has slept upon her laptop only. Also no matter what, whenever we get a picture together, either her eyes are closed in the photo or she has a certain funny expression across her face. She’s a foodie and a true believer of love at first sight. Though there hasn’t been much times gone since we started with our B school, me and my other friends have already got a lot of matter through which we can take Harsha’s case throughout our lives.

Sachin Sharma

He is the guy who is best friends with nearly every girl of our batch. One of the youngest persons in our batch. He is funny and for that he doesn’t even have to really crack a joke, yes he’s that good at it. He wakes up by 6 no matter around what time he’s sleeping. One can never figure it out if he’s being serious about anything or not. He has got scoldings from many many people till now. He keeps mixing up the deadlines of our assignments and in the process ends up doing the last one first.

Aishwarya Rangaswamy

She’s one of the best actors I’ve seen. She can mimic nearly anyone she has met even if that’s only once. She is well versed in 3-4 languages and can come up with quite witty one liners and theories. The other day it was her birthday and despite knowing that we all had arranged cake for her, she did a pretty good job at acting surprised.

What ABG company would I want to work for?

I would like to work in the fashion industry of the Aditya Birla Group. Like any other girl, I have a keen sense of fashion and a passion for selecting the correct outfit so it would be a great opportunity to actually work within the industry and gain knowledge and experience as to how the fashion industry actually functions. ABG has some known brands under it’s umbrella like Loius Philippe, Allen Solly, Peter England and Pantaloons. These are the brands which are famous for their quality and services and I personally have been purchasing from these places. I can connect emotionally to Pantaloons especially so it would be an extremely enriching experience to know how these brands are tackling their sales and what all strategies are they using and working for any sector of ABG would be a dream come true.
